Hello everyone! Last month flew by in a flash, having a taste of seventy degree sunny days just made me crave the warmer months even more. Along with the warmer weather we are starting to see the world come alive again. There's such a great sense of hope when I see outdoor restaurants and sidewalks busy with people. Everyone should have at least one kimono in their closet if you don't then the "Patterned Kimono" could be it for you! This light weight kimono has a beautiful floral pattern with neutral colors, making it easily pair-able. I've styled it two ways below.
I particularly loved the length and side slits this kimono had to offer. Just add a belt and heels and you've got a chic dressed up outfit for an event. If that isn't your style jeans and a basic tank also do the trick. In the warmer summer months try it over a bathing suit as a cover up!
I can't wait to take beach trips and have outdoor lunches in the park. When it comes to the fun little outdoor activities having a cute casual top to throw on is my go-to. Today Lole launches two perfect tops for the occasion. The "Montauk Long Sleeve" did just that...putting on this light weight top with shorts and a hat, put me right on the loungey beach vibe and I didn't want it to end! I love the striped collar and end of sleeve detail.
The "Boardwalk Tee" also did not disappoint....amazing quality and super comfy. I love the neutral beige striped colors and the open slits on the side give it something extra. Wear it on it's own or add a little bow action. The beauty of a basic top is the accessory potential and this has plenty!
I may have saved the best for last....drumroll....say hello to the "Folklore Maxi". Aside from it being named after Taylor Swift's new album this long sleeved flowy maxi dress is a dream. When I put this piece on I felt like I was floating on a cloud, the fabric including the lining gliding right on the skin effortlessly. This dress can be worn on it's own but I love some good accessory touch. I added a belt, and straw hat to compliment the floral pattern. If you are in search for a beautiful maxi dress you won't go wrong with this one.
Moment of Mindfulness
It can be so easy to feel overwhelmed and lost at times. Adulting sucks and the day to day tasks pile up in the blink of an eye. One thing that I attempt to do even just once a week is have a structured morning routine. Even just one morning a week to wake up a little extra early, sit down and plan out the days to come. This includes making a to-do list, updating my planner, or just writing down tasks that need to get done. In addition, incorporating 10-15 min of something enjoyable whether that be yoga, reading a book, or even just sitting sipping my coffee. This serves as a small refresh and helps reduce any anxious feelings I have for the week. If this is something that resonates with you give it a try!
