Hello everyone! We have officially entered May along with more restrictions being lifted in the world, which brings so much excitement for the summer to come. Fashion during the transition from spring to summer is probably one of my favorites. Bright colors, white jeans, dresses...weather depending, pretty much anything goes. I had so much fun with Lole's newest pieces check it all out below!
First up is the "White Distressed Tee", I absolutely love the oversized fit this tee had to offer. The distressing around the collar is perfect! Pull it to one side to give an off the shoulder look or leave it as is, this is definitely an easy basic for the upcoming season. As you've probably seen me do in previous blogs I love to add the accessory flair! I've paired this tee with the "White Braided Belt", which has gold hard-wear. Along with the "Bandana Print Scarf Pony". Last, the best accessory and doggie friend of all time my favorite goldendoodle Chloe!
I had to say a little more about this insanely versatile scrunchie! I am so into the bow and scrunchie trend, but this one just took the cake. This adorable mini scarf is attached to the scrunchie and can be untied and styled so many ways! Here are two ways to style pictured above, follow my blog insta @cynthia__roses for a reel on a few more options.
Next up is a top I think will sell out real quick! The "One Shoulder Crop" is the absolute perfect day/night out top. I am wearing the color Green, which is a light, sage green that can compliment any skin tone. Extremely great quality and the ribbed fabric give it something extra. Effortlessly pair this with jeans, shorts, a skirt and take on the day!
Heading into two of Lole's newest and most adorable dresses....the "Cynthia" dress named after yours truly! This pink floral tiered dress is perfect if you have an upcoming bridal or baby shower. The details are what make this piece stand out. Aside from the beautiful floral print, there is ruffling and crochet lace detail along the trim.
Lastly, the "Cut Out Maxi" dress in the color Lime Green. This piece gave me all the 70's vibes!
This maxi dress was not your typical maxi, I loved every little detail. From the zig zag crochet print of the top overlaying the stretchy bandeau, to the drawstring waist, and not to mention...pockets! If a dress has pockets that's an A+ in my book. But there is more...threaded dot detailing on the entire skirt and side slits on both sides. Also comes in the color white, which is even more magical!
I wore this maxi dress with sandals and large white rattan earrings to tie in with the 70's hippie feel I got with this dress. The great thing about a maxi dress like this is it really is all you need for a look. Pair with high heels or wedges for a dressier event.
Moment of Mindfulness
What does mindfulness mean? It is the practice of being present and in the moment. The mind so easily shuffles from thoughts about the past to thoughts of the future, often times skimming over what may be presently at our fingertips. When we are fully present we can listen instead of just hear, or perceive instead of just see. All of this effecting how we interact with others or respond to our everyday stressors. If this is something that resonates with you, this month my moment of mindfulness is to practice being more present. A book I truly enjoyed that simplified all of this is "The headspace guide to Mediation & Mindfulness" by Andy Puddicombe. I hope everyone has a good rest of the month!
